Wolfgang E. Mueller
SCHOLPP Holding GmbH
Wolfgang E. Mueller was born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1951. He began his career with a degree in business administration. For 13 years, Mueller served as Chairman of the Management Board at DIW Deutsche Industriewartung AG in Stuttgart, a holding of Salamander. In 1997, he joined the board of Salamander AG itself in Kornwestheim, where he was later promoted to Chairman. In 2004, Mueller joined SCHOLPP as Managing Partner of the SCHOLPP Services Group. At the time, the company was generating a turnover of EUR 50 million. Since then, he and his staff have developed the group into a global provider of industrial services, and introduced a new approach to the management of the company. As a result, revenues have increased to EUR 135 million.

SCHOLPP GmbH and
Steffen Kühn was born in Treuenbrietzen, Germany, in 1967. After training as a machinery and systems installer, he studied mechanical engineering at the Dresden and Chemnitz Universities of Technology, with a focus on manufacturing. After working as a sales engineer for the British BRIDON Group, Kühn joined SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH in 1993 in the same role. He took over the management of the company in 1998. The highlights of his career with SCHOLPP so far include developing the new divisions Lift Engineering and Cleanroom Move-In. He has continued to develop the Chemnitz site while also establishing new branches in Dresden, Berlin, Erfurt, Rostock, and Leipzig. He became Managing Director of SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH in 2006 and assumed responsibility for eight business units from his main office at the Chemnitz site. In early 2010, Kühn was also appointed Managing Director of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH. In 2011, he was responsible for integrating the installation department of the insolvent Grohmann GmbH into SCHOLPP Montagetechnik, followed in 2014 by the heavy installation department of F.W. Neukirch in Bremen, and Nordhorn-based techno system GmbH and techno services GmbH in 2015. In 2015, Kühn also joined the management board of PTC PressEngineering GmbH.

Lars Gerlach was born in Kassel, Germany, in 1969. He studied business administration in Marburg and Giessen, and was awarded his degree in 1997. He joined SCHOLPP that same year as Assistant to the Managing Partner. In 1999, he set up the company’s central purchasing/insurance/legal/financing department and subsequently took over as Head of Accounting and Controlling. In 2003, IT and payroll were added to his responsibilities, and he was appointed Commercial Director of the SCHOLPP Group. In 2005, he became Managing Director of SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH, while still retaining his commercial directorship for the entire Group. Gerlach joined the SCHOLPP Montage GmbH management board in early 2010. He was also appointed to PTC PressEngineering GmbH’s management board when the company was acquired by SCHOLPP Montage GmbH in 2012.
Andreas Siegle was born in Mainz, Germany, in 1963. After graduating in automation technology, he began his career in 1986 in the maintenance department of a press shop in the automotive industry. He then worked in the company’s development center and was later appointed Head of Electrical Planning in 2001. In 2008, he became the Technical Director of a Kassel-based industrial company. Andreas Siegle has been the Director of Control Technology at PTC PressEngineering since October 2013 and became an authorized signatory of the company in 2014. He was appointed Managing Director of PTC PressEngineering GmbH in 2016.
Stefan Böhm was born in Mainflingen (Hesse/Germany) in 1961. He graduated with a degree in production technology and mechanical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen-Friedberg. In 1991, he was appointed Head of IT at Sauter GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. In 1994, Sauter was acquired by SCHOLPP, and Stefan Böhm joined the accounting department at SCHOLPP Montage GmbH. He worked in cost accounting/controlling from 1998 onwards, and became Team Leader in 2000. Between 2004 and 2006, Stefan Böhm served as HR Team Leader at SCHOLPP Montage GmbH. In 2005, he was appointed as the company’s Head of Controlling and in mid-2007 became a Managing Director of SCHOLPP Asia Pacific and SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou. Since 2017, Stefan Böhm has been Managing Director of PTC PressEngineering.
SCHOLPP Spain and
Ralf Hofmann was born in Darmstadt, Germany, in 1966. After completing his degree in electrical engineering at Munich Technical University, he embarked on another course of study in the same subject at Sussex University in Brighton (UK), graduating in 1995. Hofmann then became a project engineer at 3M, which was followed by a stint as a project manager at the Barcelona branch of KUKA Schweissanlagen GmbH (a company specialising in welding equipment). He was responsible for handling major projects there from 1999 to 2005. During this time, he also gained an MBA from the Barcelona IESE School of Business. Since 2005, Ralf Hofmann has worked for SCHOLPP, where he is in charge of projects associated with the forming industry, as well as the mechanical engineering sector in Spain and neighbouring countries, especially France and Morocco. In addition, he oversees international relocation projects, whereby technical equipment is dismantled in one country and reassembled in another. In 2016, Ralf Hofmann was appointed as Managing Director of SCHOLPP Italy.
Hean Loong Low
Managing Director of SCHOLPP Malaysia and SCHOLPP China
Hean Loong Low was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1968. He began studying mechanical engineering at Michigan Technological University in the USA in 1988, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. From 1993 to 1997, he was employed as a mechanical engineer at Nesaga Technology Sdn. Bhd. While there, he was responsible for managing the 100 employees in the maintenance, installation, and modification unit. He then spent four years as the Managing Director of Mesat Sdn. Bhd., where he led a team of 50 employees. In 2004, Low began working for SCHOLPP Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. and SCHOLPP Engineering Shanghai as a project manager. From 2006 to 2013, Low served as General Manager of SCHOLPP Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. In 2013, he was appointed Managing Director of SCHOLPP Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. Since 2014, he has also been Managing Director of SCHOLPP Engineering Shanghai, with responsibility for all activities within the Asian market.
