Martin Scholpp
Managing Partner
Martin Scholpp was born on March 14, 1963, in Stuttgart, Germany. After completing an in-depth course in banking in Germany, he trained for an additional six months in the United States. In 1985, he became the assistant to the Management Board of SCHOLPP Dienstleistungsgruppe GmbH & Co. KG, becoming a full member in 1988. Since January 1995, Martin Scholpp has held overall responsibility for the growing owner-operated enterprise. Today, he is a Managing Partner of SCHOLPP Dienstleistungsgruppe GmbH & Co. KG, SCHOLPP Montage GmbH, and SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH. He is also responsible for Rösch Automobile.



Wolfgang E. Mueller
Managing Partner
Wolfgang E. Mueller was born on March 10, 1951, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. He holds a degree in business administration. For 13 years, Wolfgang Mueller was Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Industriewartung AG (DIW) in Stuttgart. He then joined international shoe retailer Salamander AG in Kornwestheim, where he rose to become Chairman of the Management Board, spending a total of 15 years with the company. Mueller moved to SCHOLPP in 2004, where he has been a Managing Partner, responsible for SCHOLPP Dienstleistungsgruppe GmbH & Co. KG, SCHOLPP Montage GmbH, SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH, SCHOLPP International, and SCHOLPP's new manpower services division TimeProfessionals.

Jochen Busch
Managing Director SCHOLPP Montage GmbH,
Managing Director, SCHOLPP Asia Pacific,
Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Jochen Busch was born on June 6, 1973, in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany. Following an apprenticeship in telecommunications electronics, he gained a degree in engineering and business administration in 2002. Following graduation, Busch became a project manager at SCHOLPP in Stuttgart. In 2003, he was made Key Account Manager for MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG, a manufacturer of printing presses, in Augsburg. In 2004, Jochen Busch took overall charge of project management in Stuttgart. He has been Managing Director of SCHOLPP Asia Pacific with full responsibility for all operations since January 2005. In January 2012 Busch was appointed to the management of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH with his office at the Stuttgart, Germany location.




Lars Gerlach
Managing Director SCHOLPP Montage GmbH

Lars Gerlach was born in Kassel, Germany on December 9, 1969. He studied business management in Marburg and Gießen, Germany and earned a master’s degree in business administration in 1997.  He joined SCHOLPP in the same year to become an assistant of the managing shareholder Martin Scholpp. In 1999, he set up the central purchasing/insurance/legal/financing department in the company to then take over the management of accounting and controlling in 2001. Added to that was process ownership for the data processing and personal accounting departments in 2003 and in the same year Gerlach was appointed the commercial head of the SCHOLPP Group. In 2005 he became the CEO of SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH while retaining his commercial management position at the SCHOLPP Group. Then, in October of 2006, he was entrusted with the overall operational responsibility for SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH. Finally, at the beginning of 2010, Gerlach was appointed to the management of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH with his office at the Frankfurt, Germany location.



Detlef Asch
Business Unit Manager

Detlef Asch was born in Duisburg, Germany on April 8, 1960. He was originally trained as a mechanic and after two jobs as an erecting engineer for press lines, Asch trained to be a foreman. Afterwards, he changed to the erecting planning department and global construction site management for large-scale transfer press systems. In 1999, Asch joined SCHOLPP where his path led him from project management through team management all the way up to project control management. Asch has been an authorised officer at SCHOLPP Montage GmbH in Frankfurt, Germany since May of 2008 and in July of 2008 he was appointed division head of metal forming and automotive and the division head for industrial engineering at the beginning of 2010.



Manfred Blaha
General Manager SCHOLPP Montage

Manfred Blaha was born in Asch, Germany on September 29, 1942. He originally trained to be a freight forwarding merchant and after initial professional experience in a responsible position, he became the CEO of Sauter GmbH, assembly services in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from 1977-1994. Blaha took on the challenge of head of sales at SCHOLPP montage headquartered in Dietzenbach, Germany in 2003. His responsibilities include sales management for services in machines, systems, metal forming and the automobile industry. Since 2008, Blaha has been a general officer at SCHOLPP Montage in Frankfurt, Germany.





Stefan Böhm
Head of Financial Control and Managing Director of SCHOLPP Asia Pacific (Malaysia) and SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou (China)   
Stefan Böhm was born on November 10, 1961, in Mainflingen, Germany. He completed a degree in manufacturing technology and general engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Giessen/Friedberg. In 1991, he was appointed Head of IT at Sauter GmbH in Frankfurt. In 1994, when Sauter was acquired by SCHOLPP, Böhm joined the accounts department at SCHOLPP Montage GmbH. He has worked in cost accounting/financial control since 1998, and became team leader in 2000. Between 2004 and 2006, Böhm was HR team leader at SCHOLPP Montage GmbH. In 2005, he was appointed Head of Financial Control at SCHOLPP Montage GmbH, and in mid-2007, he became a Managing Director of SCHOLPP Asia Pacific and SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou. 




Dirk Hendel
Business Unit Manager
Dirk Hendel was born in Eilenburg in the German state of Saxony on September 13, 1968. After training to become a machine and system erector including his school-leaving exam, he went on to college to study mechanical engineering where he got his master’s degree in engineering in 1995. After getting a two-year qualification as a European welding engineer, Hendel worked as a project manager at the Bitterfeld, Germany-based Stahl- und Apparatebau GmbH from 1996-1999. In 1999, he moved up to the Cologne, Germany branch office of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH as a project manager and since 2007 he has been heading up the plant engineering department and as well as being the process owner for chemical and petrochemical plant engineering, pharmaceutical systems and power station construction. Hendel became the head of the plant engineering division at SCHOLPP Montage in 2008.





Mario Kilian
Head of Sales

Mario Kilian was born in Friedrichsthal an der Saar, Germany on January 12, 1963. After training to become a mechanic and subsequently studying to qualify as a state-approved technician in mechanical engineering at the Saarbrücken College for Engineering, he gathered 10 years of experience as a technical designer of heavy-load vehicles, four years of which he worked in planning and marketing.  He moved up to the SCHOLPP Group in 1998 as a sales engineer and Kilian became the head of the sales department in 2005 where he was the process owner for sales and erection at our Stuttgart, Germany branch office. In 2008, he became the head of the machine industry division and he was also responsible for machine industry project controlling in addition to sales. At the beginning of 2010, Kilian was appointed the head of the southwest region and in January 2012 he became Head of Sales.





Gerhard König
Sales Manager

Vice President
Gerhard König was born in Neermoor in the German state of Lower Saxony on April 30, 1955. After training to become a naval architect and various positions, he moved up to SCHOLPP in 1986 where he worked as an erecting engineer and chief erector until 1998. After two years as a project manager at the Hamburg-based SCHOLPP Montage GmbH, he was appointed the head of the branch office and head of the north sales department in 1999. Since April of 2004, König has also been an authorised officer for the Hamburg-based SCHOLPP Montage GmbH and SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH.





Martin Linke
Head of Project Management

Martin Linke was born in Waltrop in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia on June 18, 1965. After training to become a shop mechanic at Klöckner Becorit, he worked there in the apparatus design department from 1983-1986. Then, Linke was employed as an erecting engineer and chief erecting engineer in metal forming at Sauter GmbH from 1986 to 1992. In 1991, he took another training course to become a metalworking foreman. Linke worked as the chief erecting engineer and master erecting engineer in P&P at Herog GmbH from 1992 to 1998 and at SCHOLPP where he took on the challenge of being the erection, project and team manager at P&P Dietzenbach. In 2006, Linke was appointed the head of the P&P major account sales department and he became the head of the major account mechanical engineering, metal forming and packaging sales department in 2007. Finally, Linke became the head of the Frankfurt-based branch office in June of 2007 . In 2008, he became the head of the mechanical industry division for SCHOLPP Montage Frankfurt and since the beginning of 2010 he has had the position of central regional manager. In May 2011 he became Head of Project Management.




Frank Michels
Business Unit Manager

Frank Michels was born on 17 May 1963 in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany. In 1980 he completed his schoolingand began training as a mechanic with Klöckner Becorit. After qualifying in 1984, he joined Herog’s print & pack unit as a fitter. In 1989, he was appointed installation manager and in the following year he qualified as a master mechanic. From 1991 to 2006, he ran his own rigging and installation business, before joining SCHOLPP Montage in 2006. He commenced his career at our organization as a team leader in our print & pack unit in Dietzenbach, taking up a position as a team leader in the Stuttgart-based printing department in 2007. In 2009 he was appointed head of sales for the printing industry, and has been head of the Printing Industry division in Dietzenbach since October 2010.
 
 

SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH

Steffen Kühn
Managing Director SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH and SCHOLPP Montage GmbH
 
Steffen Kühn was born in Treuenbrietzen in the German state of Brandenburg on May 30, 1967. After training to become a machine and system erector, he majored in production in his mechanical engineering studies at the Technical Universities of Dresden and Chemnitz, Germany. Kühn worked as a sales engineer for the British BRIDON Group after which he entered SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH in 1993 as a sales engineer and he took on the management in 1998. Significant high-watermarks in his career at SCHOLPP were developing the new division of lift engineering in 1994 and the new Cleanroom Move-In® division in 1998. He continuously developed the Chemnitz location and then set up branch offices in Dresden, Berlin and Erfurt, Germany. In 2006, he was appointed the CEO at SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH and took on the responsibility for seven operations and three sales offices from the Chemnitz location. At the beginning of 2010, Kühn was also pointed the CEO of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH.




David Schott
Head of Project Management at SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH, the head of the Dresden branch office and authorised officer

David Schott was born in Karl Marx City (now known as Chemnitz) Germany on February 5, 1980. He got degree as a graduate in business economics in 2002 from the Stuttgart Cooperative State University, after which he was an assistant to the management and system administrator at SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH for a year. Starting in 2003 he was also the process owner for personnel allocation. In 2004, Schott became the deputy head of project control for the northeast region and in 2005 he took on the management of this department. Finally, Schott was appointed an authorised officer at SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH and the head of the Dresden branch office in 2007.



Volkmar Rechenberg
Head of the Berlin branch office and authorised officer
Volkmar Rechenberg was born in the city of Gottberg in the area of Neuruppin (German state of Brandenburg), Germany on June 19, 1955. After training to be a motor vehicle mechanic, he gathered initial experience in a company active on the international scene starting in 1990. There, he showed what he could do as an erecting engineer, in the service department right down to his work as a project manager and dispatcher. In 2005, Rechenberg moved up to the Berlin-Brandenburg location of SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH that was being set up at the time. Since then, he has managed the branch office to turnover of 5 million euros with more than thirty employees at present. Since October of 2008, Rechenberg has been the responsible authorised officer and head of the Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg/West Pomerania branch offices.

Ralf Hofmann
Managing Director, SCHOLPP Ibérica de Montajes S.A.,

Ralf Hofmann was born on July 15, 1966, in Darmstadt, Germany. After completing a degree in electrical engineering at Munich Technical University, he graduated in the same subject from the Sussex University in Brighton, UK, in 1995. Hofmann then became a project engineer at 3M, followed by a period as a project manager at KUKA Schweissanlagen GmbH (welding equipment). From 1999 to 2005, he was responsible for major projects at KUKA in Barcelona, Spain. During this time, he gained an MBA at the Barcelona IESE School of Business. Since November 2005, Ralf Hofmann has been in charge of SCHOLPP projects for pressing and moulding machines, production equipment, and printing presses on the Spanish market. These projects typically involve equipment dismantling in one country and reassembly in another.




Torsten Schermer
Managing Director, SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou,
China, Shanghai
Torsten Schermer was born on March 8, 1967, in Eltville, Germany. After completing an apprenticeship in metal-working at Didier Werke AG, he studied engineering with business, and subsequently, applied mechanics. During his studies, Schermer worked as a mechanic at Mayer AG, a manufacturer of industrial painting and feeder systems. Between 1994 and 1996, he was a member of their field staff, later becoming a service engineer. He completed his degree in engineering with business studies in 1997. From 1998, Schermer held various positions in the field, including technical, commercial and project-management tasks, and project management. In 2001, he joined SCHOLPP Montage GmbH in Dietzenbach as a project leader. In 2005, he became Senior Project Manager and Equipment Manager at the SCHOLPP Engineering Suzhou sales office in Shanghai. Since July 2007, Torsten Schermer has been Managing Director of the Shanghai subsidiary.



SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH

Götz Schleith
Managing Director SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH
 
Götz Schleith was born in Esslingen in the German state of Baden-Württemberg on May 29, 1970. He originally trained to become an industrial erector followed by studying mechanical engineering at the Kempten University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He launched his professional career at SCHOLPP in Stuttgart, Germany in 1996 where he learned the erecting business in an intensive training phase in all its facets at our construction sites. Then, in 1997, he was given the opportunity to act as an assistant of the Stuttgart-based erecting project management and subsequently as a project manager in printing machines to 1999. He set up the material management department from 2000 to 2004 and headed up the material management department at the Scholpp Montage Group. Afterwards, he joined the technical management at the SCHOLPP Group until 2006 when he was appointed the head of SCHOLPP Montage project control in Stuttgart. His responsibility includes controlling and managing the erection department projects launched in Stuttgart and heading up personnel allocation. Since 2008 and 2009, he has been the head of the printing industry sales and project control division and at the beginning of 2010 Schleith was appointed CEO of SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH.
