Value-added strategy at the Bremen site

by SCHOLPP

F.W. Neukirch is selling its heavy load assembly division to SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH.

The new year started with changes: SCHOLPP, system services provider for the relocation and assembly of industrial plant, is buying the heavy load assembly division of F.W. Neukirch (GmbH & Co.) KG and taking on, in addition to the experienced staff and the technical equipment, the office and workshop space on the long-standing site close to the Bremer Kreuz intersection.

With this step, the SCHOLPP Group is pursuing a strategic expansion to its Germany-wide network of sites. Managing Director Steffen Kühn explains the company philosophy: “As a medium-sized company, being located close to our customers has always been important to us.” The new site in Bremen allows a more customized and flexible response to customer needs in northern Germany, as well as the sustainable and cost-effective use of existing resources.

This restructuring is based on common values, but also on the strategic decision for the company to play to its strengths. “FWN has core competencies in logistics while our focus is on assembly and installation, and we were looking for a way to strengthen our offer in the northern German region,” said Managing Director Kühn on the reasons for the decision – a classic win-win situation for both partners and the establishment of a long-term and trusting business relationship.

Steffen Kühn is particularly pleased about the increase in staff: “In Bremen we are gaining skilled employees with valuable experience.” All employees will be directly transferred. In the longer term there is a plan to create at least ten more jobs.
