Move-in of a generating and profile grinding machine

Getting lower proved to be both the challenge and the solution when moving in a Liebherr LCS 380 generating and profile grinding machine on behalf of PIV Drives GmbH. After the 16-tonne machine measuring just under 4 metres high had been unloaded with a mobile crane, it had to make it through the tight, low entrance to the hall. The solution: pulling the machine through the entrance on Teflon sliding plates. Once it was through the entrance, the SCHOLPP fitters could set the Liebherr LCS 380 down inside an oil trough in its new location.
